- Welcome to BassTour, the ULTIMATE fishing game! Thank you for registering!
-
- Your copy of BassTour should contain an installation program that will make
- installing on your hard disk easy, and enable you to quickly and easily print
- the MANUAL, the REGISTRATION FORM or the CATALOG.
-
- To INSTALL the game on your hard disk or another floppy, follow these steps:
-
- 1. Insert your copy of BassTour into one of your floppy drives.
- 2. Type the drive letter for that drive (for example A:) then press the ENTER
- key. This makes the floppy drive the "active" drive.
- 3. Next, decide where on your hard disk you want the game installed. The
- standard (default) location is a directory called BTOUR on your C: hard
- disk, but you can install it anywhere you want (including another floppy).
- 4. If you're going to use the default of C:\BTOUR, simply type BTINSTAL then
- press the ENTER key. If you want it installed somewhere else, type
- BTINSTAL <drive\directory>. For example: BTINSTAL D:\GAMES (then press
- ENTER). If you want to install the game to another floppy disk, type only
- the drive letter and the colon (for example, BTINSTAL B:) then press ENTER.
- 5. When the installation program starts, you will be presented with several
- choices. Choose item #1, INSTALL.
-
- The BTINSTAL program will also allow you to print the BassTour MANUAL, the
- BassTour REGISTRATION FORM, and a CATALOG and ORDER FORM for all of the
- programs produced by Olsen Outdoors.
-
- To PRINT any of the text files, run the BTINSTAL program as described above
- and select the item you want to print. The manual is over 20 pages long, so
- make sure you have enough paper in your printer, and that it is 'on line'.
-
- Many other programs are available from the author of BassTour. Please see the
- order form on this disk (ORDERFRM.TXT) which can be printed using the
- BTINSTAL program.
-
- This disk also contains a file called Q&A.TXT. It is a list of common
- questions and problems about BassTour. Before you write or call with a
- question, please read both the manual (BT.DOC) file and the Q&A.TXT file.
-
- Thanks, and good fishin'!
